Our Team

Helping people connect through language, culture, and community.
GBF Translations was born from a lifetime of bridging two languages and two cultures. Born in Mexico and raised in the United States, Gaby began translating long before it became her profession. As a child, she often found herself helping family members, friends, and neighbors communicate, whether by reading important documents, interpreting conversations, or simply helping someone feel understood. Those early experiences taught her that language is about far more than words. It's about trust, opportunity, and ensuring everyone has a voice.
What started as a way to help others naturally grew into a career. Today, with more than 20 years of experience, Gaby provides professional English-Spanish translation, interpretation, and notary services for individuals, businesses, law firms, healthcare providers, and organizations throughout Metro Atlanta and beyond.
As a proud woman-owned business based in Cherokee County, GBF Translations is deeply rooted in the community it serves. Gaby believes that supporting her community extends far beyond business, which is why she actively volunteers with local organizations dedicated to education, literacy, and cultural engagement. In 2026, she was honored with the IN WDSTK Volunteer of the Year Award, recognizing her commitment to giving back to the community that has supported both her and her business.
Whether she is translating a legal document, interpreting for a client, helping a small business communicate with Spanish-speaking customers, or creating bilingual resources that celebrate language and culture, GBF Translations remains committed to one mission:
To help people feel understood, connected, and confident.

Our Story

Every business has a story. Ours began with friendship, resilience, and a belief that language should bring people together.
During the uncertainty of the pandemic, Gaby, her husband Taylor, and their beloved Labrador, Sakura, often joked that they were "our own little company." What started as a lighthearted phrase soon took on a deeper meaning as Gaby began building the business she had dreamed about for years. When it came time to choose a name, Gaby's Best Fwends felt like the perfect fit. It represented the unwavering support, loyalty, and friendship that had carried them through life's challenges and laid the foundation for everything GBF would become.
While the name reflects a personal story, it also represents the values that guide the business every day: trust, connection, kindness, and community.
Those same values inspired the creation of GBF Translations.
Today, GBF Translations proudly serves clients throughout Metro Atlanta and beyond, providing professional English-Spanish translation, interpretation, and notary services. From legal and medical documents to business communications and community outreach, every project is approached with cultural understanding, attention to detail, and genuine care.
